I’m Amy Chapman Braun, owner of Brauncreative and a photographer, artist and creative director/designer based in Raleigh, NC.

Early leadership roles within advertising agencies and my work as a nature photographer taught me the critical importance of creative typography, attention to details, and the use of beautiful imagery, to ensure that every design is intentional and purposeful. I strive to deliver work that is clean, approachable and timeless.

In my current role as Creative Director of Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, I am relied upon to deliver engaging images and design concepts that are both on brand and motivate consumers to respond to a client’s message.

I believe that good work is the product of strong relationships with my clients, translating a deep appreciation of purpose and desired outcomes into a memorable expression of text, art and color. I have had the great fortune to work with these clients: Coastal Living Magazine, Singh Investors (Key West Resorts), Architectural Digest, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, Amazing Interior Designers, Pearson Furniture, Maine Cottage, SAS, The Umstead Hotel and Spa, and the John Mayer Concert Tour Artisan Program.
